It's been forever since I posted but I'm going to try to be around more in the new year!

How is everyone? My life has been good but busy aside from being scared about the direction the country is headed in due to the orange idiot.

It's an election year in Canada. I told Kita last night that if the Conservatives win, I will move to Israel with her - even though I'm not Jewish.

I saw Christie over the weekend! She's never on DW anymore, but she says to say hello to everyone.

The only trouble with Israel is Bibi is awful also.

We actually might be able to legally become citizens of Germany, which is weird. But the whole world seems to want to go up in flames lately, so I'm not sure that's any better.

Yeah, that's what has me worried about the election here. At the moment, the Liberals are leading in the national polls, but Ontario elected a Trump wannabe as premier last year, so you never know.

I'm over on a political board (which is heavily moderated - such a blessing) and some of our regular posters are Canadian so I knew about Ontario. I'm hopeful the majority of your countrymen have more sense.

Yeah. Things were actually pretty awesome late spring and then over the summer. I was doing roller derby, everything was awesome and then 10/5 I get rear-ended and 3 months later I'm going to see my neurologist about getting a note for another month of leave because of post-concussion syndrome. the only saving grace is that it all happened about a block from work as i was going from the office to a client and so everything has been paid by workers comp.

I'm glad that workers comp is paying the bills. Medical is so insanely expensive. My firm switched plans for this coming year, so I'm kind of worried what my drug costs are going to be.

Currently vacationing in Furloughnia, which sucks about as much as you'd think. Other than that? Child is in her first year of college (yay!), and my mother-in-law just moved in down the street (yay?).

Life isn't too bad overall. Both boys are doing great (If you bob over to LJ I posted pics of them yesterday). Assuming my 401K doesn't permanently crash and burn hopefully I can retire in a few years.
